After finding 1 page and a content guide for teacher webpages, I see that the public information would likely be pretty general, as putting too much specific information online could be dangerous. Certain things that would be public include major due dates, teacher contact information, curriculum details, etc. These pieces of information would be extremely helpful for parents and students to keep track of. It would also give a good overview of a teacher and their class, so parents and students know what to expect.

I see myself using technology professionally, in the beginning, to represent myself online in order to find jobs. I would use applications like LinkedIn to improve my networking and meet other teachers and administrators. If I were to be a teacher, I would use certain productivity platforms like Google Classroom or Canvas to keep all assignments and grading in one place. This would enable me to put more effort into bettering myself professionally as a teacher without worrying about all the logistics.

I think AI can be successful at helping teachers brainstorm lesson plan ideas. Actually creating the step-by-step details of the lesson plan and curating it to the students and class period is simply something that has to be done by a human. A good lesson plan actually needs many things; primarily, it needs to be adaptable to different situations. After completing this project, I would definitely consider using ChatGPT to help brainstorm ideas for lesson plans, but I would actually put them together myself. I didn't like the Canvas group tool, mostly just because of how difficult it was to design and make aesthetic.
